Finance Minister AMA Muhith today hinted that the government may reduce fuel prices.
He said a decision would be made in this regard after reviewing the prices by the next two weeks.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Muhith was talking to reporters after a meeting with Iyad Ameen Madani, general secretary of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, at the Bangladesh Secretariat in Dhaka.
He further said the new national pay scale would be finalised by the next month.
