[WATCH] Video of man punching a kangaroo to save dog goes viral
A video of a man punching a kangaroo to save his dog has gone viral in the social media after the footage emerged online.
The man, Greg, punched the iconic Australian animal square on its nose and it could well be the most Aussie thing you will ever come across, reports news.com.au.
The footage, which has been viewed by millions since being posted in Facebook, shows Greg rush to the rescue of his dog Max, which was being held by the kangaroo with its powerful arms anchoring the dog by its breastplate.
As Greg approached, it let Max go and turned its attention to the human to size him up as its next victim, reports news.com.au.
Greg, however, unfazed by the prospect of going toe-to-toe with one of nature’s best boxers, lands a jab square on the kangaroo’s snout with his right hand.
The kangaroo, though not visibly hurt, appeared to be shocked and made a quick retreat after being punched.
