Interview: Freedom fighter Ahamed Ali
Ahamed Ali, a freedom fighter who fought in Sector 8 under Major General Muhammad Abul Manzoor, tells his stories of training and war days during the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971.
Ali received training at Chakulia training camp of Jharkhand state, India. Earlier, he worked as a Chhatra League activist in the election of 1970.
Ali was born and raised in Kushtia district. He completed his Honours and Masters degrees on Accounting from Jagannath University (the then Jagannath College) in Dhaka.
He later worked and retired as an assistant director in Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Ltd (BTCL).
Presently, he is working in Onnorokom Group as the Head of Procurement Department.
