Lily and Dilu perform at IGCC

Indira Gandhi Culture Centre (IGCC) organised an evening of Rabindra Sangeet by singer Lily Islam on August 29 at IGCC, Gulshan-1 in the capital. Elocutionist Mozibur Rahman Dilu also performed at the event.

Lily Islam began her performance with “Dinguli Mor Sonar Khachai” followed by “Krishnokoli” and “Tomarei Koriachi Jiboner Drubotara”. One by one she rendered “Ami Tomar Songe Bedhechi Amar Pran”, “Mor Bhabonare Ki Haoai Matalo”, “Tumi Sondhyaro Meghomala” and more.

Ruptanu Dassharma accompanied her on keyboard, while Shakil Mohammad Dipan, Swarup Hossain, Partha Pratim Guha and Asit Biswas accompanied her on guitar, tabla, octopad and esraj respectively.
