Raudha buried in Rajshahi town
Maldivian medical student Raudha Athif, whose hanging body was recovered from her college dormitory in Rajshahi on Tuesday, committed suicide, according to an autopsy report.
“The autopsy result that came out this afternoon shows Raudha committed suicide by hanging herself,” said Prof Mansur Rahman, head of department of Forensic Medicine of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.

The autopsy result was released just after the burial was completed at Hetemkha Graveyard in Rajshahi town, our correspondent reports quoting police.
The burial took place by the supervision of Quantum Foundation of Bangladesh after Zuhr prayers in presence of 11 members of her family including her parents, a brother and cousins, said Amir Jafar, deputy commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP).

Maldivian Ambassador Aishath Shann Shakir was also present during the burial, Amir Jafar also said.
Raudha, a second-year student of Islami Bank Medical College, was found dead in her room at the women's hostel of the college in Nawdapara area of Rajshahi city on March 29. Her body was found hanging from the ceiling fan with a scarf tied to the neck.
