A murder case was filed against classmate of Maldivian medical student and model Raudha Athif, who was found dead at her dormitory in Rajshahi on March 29.

Raudha’ father Mohamed Athif filed the case with Rajshahi Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, our correspondent reports quoting Athif’s lawyer Md Kamrul Manir.

In the complaint, the father mentioned that the classmate broke open the door of Raudha and lowered the hanging body. Athif wrote in the complaint that she might have strangled Raudha, according to his lawyer.

Raudha, an MBBS second year student of Islami Bank Medical College in Rajshsahi, was found dead in her college dormitory room on March 29.

Later, the college authorities informed Shah Makhdum Police Station that Raudha committed suicide by hanging herself.
