BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s scheduled meeting with Australian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Julia Niblett has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstance.

Julia Niblett was scheduled to hold the meeting with Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan office in Dhaka around 5:30pm but it was cancelled due to unavoidable circumstance, Sayrul Kabir Khan, a staff of BNP chief's media wing, told The Daily Star.

The current political situation of Bangladesh and bilateral relations between Australia and Bangladesh were supposed to be discussed among other issues during the meeting, the party source said.
