Peon held for ‘raping’ Feni college girl

A peon of Feni Government College was arrested today in connection with reportedly raping a student of the college.

The arrestee Krishna Chandra Das, 32, hails from Pachgasia village of sadar upazila, reports our local correspondent.

The victim, a 3rd-year honours student, submitted a written complaint to the principal yesterday alleging that the peon raped her at the office room of English department on May 6, according to police and college sources.

Police arrested the peon after a case was filed with Feni Sadar Model Police Station in this regard, said Md Rashed Khan, officer-in-charge of Feni Sadar Model Police Station.
