Suborna shoots TV play in single take!

Suborna Mustafa commanded the TV scene in the '90s. Although she is not seen as   frequently today, her screen presence is riveting. This Eid TV viewers will get to see Suborna in a number of plays.

One of her most remarkable recent works is "Maya'r Por Maya” that was shot in a single camera take. Written and directed by Badrul Anam Soud and set in a village, the play casts only one other character – Sazu Khadem who plays Suborna's husband.

For Eid, Suborna is shooting “Icche Puroner Birombona”, also by Badrul Anam Soud and co-starring Sazu Khadem. The seven-episode series, produced under Dhhoni-Chitro, revolves around a couple who have their personalities switched. Shahadat, Moin and Naziba are also in the cast.

Suborna will also be in tele-film “Amar Bela Je Jaye”, where she will pair up with Afzal Hossain. Directed by Arif Khan, the play will be aired on ntv. Her other work for this Eid is “Megher Pore Megh”, directed by Rahmatullah Tuhin.

Aside from these, Suborna Mustafa is working on TV serial “Golok Dhadha”, for SATV.
