Gazipur boiler blast: Kamal for action if owner’s negligence found
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal today said legal action would be taken if negligence of owner is found in Gazipur factory boiler blast that left 13 people dead.
“We will take legal action if negligence of the factory owner is found through the investigation,” he warned while addressing a rally at Tongi Pilot School and Girls’ College in Gazipur.
He also said that a probe body has been formed to investigate the incident.
Earlier, Kamal inaugurated a new building of Gazipur Police Station.
He also thanked police for its tremendous effort in rescuing columnist and writer Farhad Mazhar unhurt and said the mystery behind the missing will be unveiled immediately.
“We should thank the police force as they were able to rescue Farhad Mazhar unhurt through mobile tracking,” Kamal said while talking to reporters in Gazipur.
On July 3, Farhad Mazhar went missing from his Adabar residence in Dhaka and was rescued from a bus in Jessore area yesterday.
