'Take steps to eradicate Chikungunya'
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia today called upon the government to take measures immediately for eradicating the menace of mosquito-borne Chikungunya disease.
Khaleda made the call in a tweet from her verified account this morning.

Dhaka is witnessing the outbreak of the Chikungunya virus, raising a new public health concern in addition to dengue fever.
A viral disease which is transmitted to humans by infected mosquitoes, Chikungunya was first described during an outbreak in southern Tanzania in 1952.
