Police charge leaders and activists of the Communist Party of Bangladesh and Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal with batons when they staged a peaceful sit-in before Mithapukur Upazila Parishad in Rangpur yesterday afternoon protesting price hike of electricity and gas.
