‘Criminals, stamp forgers’ held in Dhaka

Detectives today claimed arrest of six people including an arms dealer and stamp forgers from separate areas in Dhaka.

Three criminals, including the dealer, were held with a pistol, a shutter gun and 12 bullets from Shah Ali area, Detective Branch said.

Three stamp forgers were held with fake stamps worth over Tk 18 lakh from Dhaka.

The detentions were announced in a text message floated to the media. It said, further details would be disclosed later in a press briefing.
