Madhuri set to release first English music album

For years, Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit has set the hearts beating with her dancing skill. And now she is set to make debut as a crooner, coming out with her first-ever English language music album “The Film Star”.

The EP will be launched with the debut single, “Tu Hai Mera”, a special ode from Madhuri to her fans for all the love and support she has received from them over the years and continues to even today.

Music has been a part of my being from the very beginning. I was pretty clear that I wanted to kick-start this new chapter with a sense of celebration and gratitude for my fans who have offered their unrelenting support and all their love no matter what,” she said.

“So what better way to embark on this journey than by celebrating their appreciation?” added the diva.

The new track is a fusion of classical Indian folk music with western pop lyrics and beats, bringing together the East and the West.

“We were able to create something that really speaks to your soul. Our hope is that the audience will appreciate all the hard work our team has put into the project and that it moves them as much as it has affected us,” Madhuri added.
