UGC to probe allegations of MBBS admission question leak
University Grants Commission (UGC) formed a probe body to look into the alleged involvement of UGC Assistant Director Omar Siraj in question paper leakage of this year’s medical and dental college admission tests.
UGC Member Professor Dr Abul Hashem has been made the convener of the probe body and its other members are UGC Member Professor Dr Mohammad Yousuf ali Mollah, UGC Secretary Dr Md Khaled, and UGC Joint Secretary Dr Md Fakhrul Islam, a press release of the UGC said today.
The committee has been asked to submit their report within seven working days, the press release reads.
Earlier, Rapid Action battalion (Rab) detained Omar Siraj on the charge of question-paper leakage of medical admission test on September 18.
Omar Siraj has already been suspended for his alleged involvement in the leakage of question-paper for admission test of medical colleges, the press release mentioned.
