Tigers struggle in the second innings
Bangladesh have looked to consolidate with skipper Mushfiqur Rahim (run) and Mahmudullah Riyad before the Tigers skipper fell right at the end of the first session of the third day.
Mushfiqur Rahim had been troubled by the short pitched deliveries but managed to hang on to his wicket under dire circumstances early on in his innings.
Duanne Olivier hit he Tigers skipper right on the helmet. Mushfiqur went down on his knees in a nervy few minutes where everybody showed concern for his safety. Mushfiqur appeared to be dizzy after being hit but he managed to recover. However, pacer Wayne Parnell arrived at the attack before lunch and angled a perfect delivery onto Mushfiqur and got him out leg-before. Tigers went to lunch struggling at 92/4.
Mahmudullah Riyad was batting on 14 at the other end when the players went to lunch.
Earlier, Bangladesh lost Soumya Sarkar on the fifth over of the innings when he edged Kagiso Rabada to the slips and du Plessis took the catch gratefully.
The Tigers batsmen were seen again and again hanging their bat away from their body and paid the price with their wickets.
Mominul Haque fell on the ninth over when he pulled Rabada only to be holed out at deep square leg.
Imrul Kayes, who scored 32 runs looked vulnerable to the short deliveries. It was one of those short deliveries that caused enough confusion and he neither fended-off nor played a convincing flick shot to Duanne Olivier. He fell on the 15th over with Tigers at 63/3.
