Little fan’s letter motivates Tamim

Tamim Iqbal posts a photo of a letter sent to him by a fan on his official facebook page.

Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal, who has been sidelined from the South Africa series due to a left thigh muscle tear was motivated by one of his fan. The cricketer felt humble gratitude for the letter and thanked the young fan.

Tamim wrote on his facebook: "I tend to think that Cricket is the greatest thing that God ever created on earth. And Cricket fans all over the world probably have more in common with each other than their fellow countrymen.For my lovely fan,therefore we play!"

The little fan wrote to him on November 2016 in which the boy wrote that he wants to be like Tamim. He also wanted to be Tamim's friend and suggested that he was the best batsman from Bangladesh.

Tadwar Yazdan wanted to meet the cricketer for lunch and eat together. We hope Tamim's young fan is happy that his letter got through to his idol.
