Khaleda to visit Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar next week
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will visit Cox's Bazar next week to see the condition of the Rohingyas who have fled to Bangladesh to escape persecution in Myanmar.
The decision was taken during a meeting of BNP standing committee members last night, said a press release today.
The BNP chief will visit Kutupalong Rohingya camp on October 29, said the party sources.
The meeting was held at BNP chief Khaleda's Gulshan office in the capital.
It was Khaleda's first meeting with standing committee members since she returned from the UK on October 18 after a three-month stay at the house of her elder son Tarique Rahman.
