2 ‘Ansarullah militants’ held in Gendaria

A team of rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two alleged members of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) from Gendaria area in Dhaka last night.

The elite force members also seized explosives and books that provoke extremism, from the arrestees, Rab told The Daily Star.

The arrestees are Abdul Rajjak, 28, and Abdul Mumin AKA sohel, 32.

The duo was arrested while they were on their way to a training centre in Jessore from Narayanganj, said Mohiudddin Faruquee, additional superintendents of Rab-10.
