Dhaka University’s Sept of Baelor won the second season of the export idea contest “Rise High Bangladesh”, jointly organised by The Daily Star and Crown Cement.

Team Third Dimension from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and team Green Bee from Rajshahi University (RU) have secured the second and third position respectively.

The winner will be awarded a trip to Malaysia where the first and the second runners up will be awarded TK 1 lakh and Tk 50,000 respectively.

The award giving ceremony was held at the Bashundhara Convention City in Dhaka this evening.

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal was the chief guest and US Ambassador in Dhaka Marcia Bernicat was the special guest on the occasion.

 Zahangir Alam, chairman of crown cement and Mahfuz Anam, editor and publisher of The Daily Star, were also present at the event.
