Two public exams’ results today

The results of two public examinations will be published today.

Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman will announce the results of Primary and Ebtedai (madrasa) Terminal Examinations for class-V students at a press conference at 1:00pm at his secretariat office in the capital.

On the other hand, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will brief the media on the results of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations for eighth graders at a press conference at 2:00am at his secretariat office.

Prior to that, copies of the results will be handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as a custom. Both the results will be published simultaneously across the country in grading system.

The examinees can get their results from their respective schools.

Besides, primary students can get their results on the websites of Directorate of Primary Education (DPE): www.dpe.gov.bd. JSC and JDC students can get their results on www.educationboardresults.gov.bd. Student can also get their results via short messaging service (SMS).

Over 30 lakh fifth graders attended the primary terminal exams. Of them, 28,04,509 were from primary schools while 2,91,566 from madrasas. The exams ended on November 26.

On the other hand, 24, 68,820 eighth graders from 28,628 institutions appeared in the JSC and JDC tests. Of them, 20.90 lakh students sat for the JSC exams and around 3.78 lakh students took the JDC exams.
