Girls fare better than boys in primary terminal exam

Girls fared better than boys by a slight margin in this year’s primary terminal examination.
While girls have secured 95.40 percent pass rate, their male peers have obtained 94.93 percent in their first ever board examinations, according a release of the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE).
In terms of participation in the examination, girls were also ahead of boys, it said.
