Top Star Live videos of 2017

The video section of the Daily Star-- Star Live -- has been trying to redefine traditional news features in video format throughout 2017.

The Star Live’s video stories brought to the limelight van helper Mr. Jonny, the loveable loyal dog of van puller Dayal. Jonny was cast in an Eid-drama a few months back; and we are so proud of Jonny and his friend Dayal for the acting. 

Led by the Lifestyle section of The Daily Star, we also brought to the audience a series of video on the streets of Dhaka; exploring the heritage and vibes of some of the well-known streets of the city.

We also presented a joint venture with Asian News Network (ANN) exploring what if a journalist lived a day on the same wage of a minimum wage earner. Is it too difficult or is it okay?

We have interviewed celebrities and Showbiz editor Rafi Hussain tried to bring up trending topics and controversies as he chatted with various popular artists of the country.
