Three people went missing after a stone-laden cargo vessel capsized in Ghora Utra river in Nikli upazila of Kishoreganj today.

The three -- Al-Amin, 30, Mohammad Mohsin, 27, and Moin Uddin, 35, -- were labourers, reports our local correspondent.

Four labourers were onboard the Narayanganj-bound vessel when it capsized around 7:30am due to overloading, said Nasir Uddin Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge (OC) of Nikli Police Station.   

Locals rescued one of them named Mohsin, 35, while three others went missing, the OC added.
