Delhi Daredevils want Shakib

IPL outfit Delhi Daredevils want Bangladesh's ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan in their team for the upcoming India Premier League (IPL), report suggested.

Bangladesh's star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who had featued in the IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders in the past seven seasons, was earlier released by the Kolkata outfit for the upcoming edition of the money-spinning tournament. With Shakib now available through an auction, Delhi Daredevils are apparently interested in the Bangladesh talisman.

A spokesperson for the Delhi Daredevils confirmed their interest in the top all-rounder from Bangladesh.

The all-rounder's name will be in the present along with one thousand and 122 cricketers when the IPL auctions take place on January 27 and 28 at Bengaluru.

The sixth edition of the the IPL auctions will also feature seven other Bangladsh players Tamim Iqbal Mustafizur Rahman, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Liton Das, Sabbir Rahman and Abul Hasan.
