Tigers’ five shortest innings
We take a look at Tigers' shortest innings in ODIs where they did not manage to play even half the number of overs.
Bangladesh were bowled out in 24 overs against Sri Lanka and slumped to 82 all out in their final round robin fixture ahead of the tri-nation series final.
This was the fifth occasion where Tigers were bowled out without managing to play half the number of overs and ranks as their fourth shortest innings in ODIs.
In 2014, Tigers were all-out for just 58 runs against India in just 17.4 overs, chasing a target of 106 for victory. That match was also played at the SBNCS.
Ranked second is their defeat to West Indies in the ICC Cricket World Cup played at Dhaka. Tigers were bowled out for 58 runs at the SBNCS in 18.5 overs.
Back in 2002 they were bowled out for 77 runs in 19.3 overs at Colombo's SSC ground.
Tigers were also bowled out in 24.4 overs against West Indies at St George's ground back in 2014.
Today the Tigers lasted just 24 overs as only Mushfiqur Rahim and Sabbir Rahman managed to reach double digit scores.
