HC judge embarrassed to hear plea on Nizam's JS seat

Another High Court (HC) judge today felt embarrassed to continue hearing a writ petition that challenged legality of Jatiya Sangsad membership of ruling Awami League leader Nizam Uddin Hazari.

Four other HC judges earlier felt embarrassed to hear the same writ petition.

Today, Justice Abu Taher Md Saifur Rahman felt embarrassed during the hearing continuing for the fourth day of the petition, advocate Satya Ranjan Mondal told The Daily Star.

Justice Abu Taher will now send the petition to Justice Wahhab Mia, who is performing duties as the chief justice, for a decision on the petition.

Justice Wahhab will later assign another HC bench for the hearing.
