Razzak likely to be out of squad for second Test

Veteran left-armer Abdur Razzak is likely to be out of the squad for the second Test against Sri Lanka.

The 35-year made a return to the Tigers' squad after a period of four years following Shakib Al Hasan's injury. Tigers included as many as six spinners in the squad for the first Test to make up for the experience of the newly-appointed Test captain.

Razzak is likely to head home as he will not be in contention for the second Test squad, according to a source close to BCB.

Razzak was seen as a solution to Tigers' dilemma with the Chittagong track supposedly very spin-friendly, where long spells from spinners are the requirement.

The off-spinner was however left out of the final lineup as Bangladesh opted for uncapped Sunzamul Islam along with Taijul Islam and Mehedi Hasan Miraz.
