Today’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination for Physics was not spared from the ongoing spate of question leak despite strict measures of the government.

The Daily Star obtained a copy of the leaked question paper – Ga set multiple choice questions – which was identical to the original question paper, an hour ahead of the test.

Leaked questions were, as usual, available all over the social media and multiple accounts.

Yesterday, the government formulated a strict guideline of banning mobile phones around the vicinity of exam centres. The order was to arrest anyone found with mobile in the area.

This has to be the largest ever reported spate of question paper leak with questions being available ahead of almost all the examinations of the SSC, that started from February 1.

Meanwhile, Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) today claimed arrest of one person from Dhaka’s Agargaon, who is said to be involved in the question leak-ster racket. Further details were not available immediately.

LEAKED QUESTIONS FOUND FROM 56 STUDENTS

In Chittagong city, leaked questions, with answers, of Physics (multiple choice questions) were found from 56 students of Ideal School and College, Patia, our local staff correspondent reports.

Twenty-four of the students were expelled, said Habibur Rahman, additional deputy commissioner (education and ICT) in Chittagong.

Tablets were seized from nine students who were among the expelled students.

A teacher of the school was also arrested in this connection, the police official added.

The 56 students were found looking at the leaked question paper inside a bus 150 yards from the examination centre around 9:20am.
