2 workers killed as petrol pump roof collapses

Two workers were killed and four others injured as the roof of an under-construction petrol pump collapsed in Niamatpur upazila of Naogaon today.

Deceased Anisur Rahman hailed from Gabtoli village of the upazila and Sujan Hossain hailed from Gomastapur upazila of Chapainawabganj district.

The victims were working when the roof of the refueling station owned by one Abul Hossain collapsed around 12:30pm, Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Niamatpur Police Station, told our Dinajpur correspondent.

Anisur and Sujan died on the spot while the injured were taken to the local health complex, the OC said.
