Woman commits 'suicide'

A woman allegedly committed suicide at Shalmara village in Aditmari upazila of the district yesterday morning. The dead is Hawa Begum, 46, wife of Ala Uddin of the village. She was a mentally imbalanced woman. Police and family sources said on Wednesday, Hawa went to visit her daughter at Devirpat village where she was insulted by her son-in-law. After returning home, she killed herself by taking poison.
