When morale is down it is always a good idea to recall the good times. That was the case with the Bangladesh team while training at the P Sara Oval in Colombo yesterday. It is on this very ground where, slightly less than a year ago, the Tigers registered their memorable win over Sri Lanka in their 100th Test match.

Tamim Iqbal -- the player-of-the-match in that storied contest -- reminisced on that mid-March match with The Daily Star and informed that he was still able to visualise all of the events of that win.

"Everyone felt elated when we entered the dressing room and saw the ground because we can actually visualise that moment. The amount of tension we had at one point of the game, because we could have lost the game, and then we eventually managed to win the match. Not just me; those who were present during that game were all excited to return to this ground. It's good to be back here again," Tamim aid ahead of the training session yesterday.

The left-hander hit 49 in the first innings and followed that up with a match-winning 82 in the second innings while chasing a victory target of 191.

"Obviously, I am feeling good after walking up to the pitch today [Monday] and taking a look; I played a match-winning knock for my team when I arrived at the ground. It always feels great to return to the ground where I played well and helped my side win a Test match," he said.

The Tigers however will not be playing at the P Sara Oval as all matches of the Nidahas Trophy will take place at the R Premadasa Stadium, but the players can surely take some positives out of their memorable win and gain some much-needed confidence.
