Babul Supriyo urges India to take daughters seriously

Singer turned politician Babul Supriyo said that it will be great if India takes its daughters seriously. The singer, who is now the Minister of State for Urban Development, and for Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, under the Government of India, added, " Even now, in remote areas, people don't educate their daughters.

Driven by the invigorating leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is trying to do everything possible in benefit of girl child, there will soon come a time when we will see a lot of improvement in this particular section." The 44-year-old along with his 16 year old daughter Sharmilee Supriyo will bring a euphonious single "I Wanna Fly", for celebrating United Nation's International Day of the Girl Child that is earmarked for October 11 every year.
