Varun Dhawan impresses in first “October” trailer

Within a career span of just five years, Varun Dhawan has proven his acting mettle by taking up diverse roles and delivering spectacular performances, from the rich spoilt brat in “Student of the Year” to the rebellious in “Badlapur”. And seems like the Bollywood young gun is set to put up another solid performance, in Shoojit Sircar's “October”.

The makers of the film released the official trailer and it is quite captivating, as Times of India describes. An intense love story picturised by fabulous cinematography set against a winter backdrop, the film looks to bring typical Bollywood romance flavours. But the plot seems to be plenty interesting, with Varun's character building some intrigue.

Varun's character, Dan, plays a luxury hotel housekeeper, who catches the fancy of a co-worker named Shiuli (played by Banita Sandhu). Hints of a budding romance are thrown in before a sudden twist spins the story in a very different direction.

Co-produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, “October” is set to release on April 13.
