US-Bangla plane crash: UN joins in mourning
The United Nations has joined in mourning the deaths caused from the crash of a US-Bangla Airlines plane at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal.
UN Secretary-General (SG) António Guterres sent his condolence to Ambassador Masud Bin Momen, the permanent representative of Bangladesh to the UN, in this regard.
In the message, he expressed sympathies to the Bangladeshi government, people and victims of the tragic accident, says a press release of Permanent Mission of Bangladesh to the UN.
“On behalf of the SG and my own, please accept sincere condolences on the tragic loss of lives resulting from it,” reads the message from António Guterres.
