The best thing about Evernote is that you can make different notes for different subjects without cramming them all in one place and even view as you prefer.  If you're concerned about the privacy of your notes while sharing with other people, you can save them with a pass-code lock. The app also allows you to set up widgets on home-screen for the sake of saving time while in hurry.

All in all, this app is everything a free note taking app should be. Accessing notes without an internet connection is possible, but for that, you have to upgrade to the premium version.
