Warner reacts to comment from spectator
David Warner it seems just cannot keep out of confrontations in the ongoing tour of South Africa after he verbally hit back at a fan on his way back to the pavilion after being bowled by Kagiso Rabada for 30.
Warner got into a spot of bother after he was brought to a sudden halt by something a punter said, firing back words of his own as a member of ground security stepped in to rebuke the fan, The West Australian reports.
It was an eventful morning for Warner, who was hit on his forearm in the second delivery of the day and needed treatment. He hit Rabada for five fours on the trot before his off-stump was knocked back by the quick with a brilliant delivery.
In the first Test, CCTV footages appeared of Warner having a row with Quinton De Kock on the stairwell of the team dressing room.
Warner had to be held back by Tim Paine, Usman Khwaja and captain Steve Smith after a comment was made by De Kock regarding the player’s wife.
