Genocide Day, Independence Day to be observed in all madrasas

Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board has directed all the madrasas to observe the Genocide Day on March 25 and Independence Day on March 26 in their educational institutions.

On the occasions, authorities of the madrasas will hold different programmes including hoisting national flag, arranging commemorative discussions and special prayers for the martyrs.

The board chairman Professor A K M Saif Ullah issued the directive on Tuesday, which is now on its website. The directive signed by the registrar of the board Prof Mofizur Rahman has been sent to all madrasas.

As per the direction, the educational institutions will arrange programmes participated by the freedom fighters and distinguished personalities on March 25.

All the students of Madrasas from different divisions, districts and upazila will participate in the parade, congregation and sports events.
