For outstanding contribution in the field of mobilising and empowering destitute and marginalised women, 13 Bangladeshi women were honoured under the banner of Wings. The event took place in the evening of 28 March, 2018 at Gulshan Club Patio Hall, Gulshan 2, Dhaka.

The awardees included Ekushey Padak recepient Minu Haque, Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Proffesor Salma Khan, Laila Rahman Kabir, as well as other women of exceptional accomplishmenta like Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Dr Sadeka Halim to name a few.

For this event, Nilufer Zafarullah, Member of Bangladesh National Parliament, attended as the Chief Guest and Rokeya Afzal Rahman, Former Advisor, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Vice President of ICC (International Chamber of Commerce), President of BFWE (Bangladesh Federation of Women Entrepreneur)  was present as a  special guest.

The award giving ceremony was followed by dinner and cultural program by Masreen Nahar Bonny.

Wings, a non-profit support group for women in Bangladesh, was launched in 2015 as an initiative of Tootli Rahman along with other women, who have been working with womenfolk of Bangladesh to improve their lives.
