Led by Nagraj Joshi, an eight-member troupe from India's Karnataka region, performed Yakshagana, a folk theatre form that combines Kathakali dance, music, dialogue, costume, make-up, and stage techniques with a unique style, at the main auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum on October 13. Arranged by Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, the performance focused on sagas from the two epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. Environment and Forest Minister Anwar Hossain Manju attended the event as chief guest while Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pankaj Sharan, was special guest.
