A member of Detective Branch of police and a source of the law enforcers were killed as a truck run over their motorbike on Mymensingh-Netrakona road in Purbodhola upazila in Netrakona last night.

Deceased Miraz Hossain, 28, was ASI of Netrakona DB police, and Raju Mia, 22, worked as a source of policemen, reports our Mymensingh correspondent.

The accident took place when they riding on a motorbike were going to Netrakona from Shamganj around 11:00pm, said Shah Nur-e-Alam, inspector of Shamganj Police Investigation Centre.

The truck and motorbike were seized from the spot, he said.

The bodies were sent to Netrakona Sadar Hospital.
