The first instrument Slash ever played was the drums. Slash was the little drummer boy in a school production of 12 days of Christmas in Stoke-on-Trent, England, when he was five years old. He loves horror films and he has his own horror film production company called Slasher Films. He wants to bring back dramatic horror movies. Not only that, Slash is also a semi-pro race car driver. He has been called Slash since he was in high school. He was nicknamed Slash because he was always running around (slashing).
