Tempting Fate
Overloaded trains carrying passengers on the roof is a sight often seen in the country. Despite the risk, passengers are prone to tempting fate, often for a quick or free ride. However, travelling on the roof isn't the only worry. People can be seen milling about the train tracks, without a worry in the world. Aware of the dangers, they still choose to sit near the tracks, jump from carriage to carriage of a moving train and walk on the tracks while distracted by their phones. Sometimes, people even jump off moving trains for disembarking quickly. In April, six people died in separate accidents in Tongi and Chittagong, as a result of travelling on a train's roof.
