The benefits of Omega-3
Some fats are actually good to our health! The essential fatty acid Omega 3 is one of them. It helps us fight inflammation; the mother to all modern diseases.
Our immune system needs a balance of both Omega 3 and 6 to function properly. If we consume less Omega 3, we risk inflammatory diseases such as asthma, arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, and even cancer.
On the other hand, if we take too much Omega 3, we may suffer from blood thinning, hemorrhagic stroke, prostate cancer etc.
Meet Omega 3 with Purnava eggs
Omega 3 rich eggs are a popular choice for people with O3 deficiency. Because eggs can be a part of our daily diet.
But are all Omega 3 eggs equal?
Adding flaxseed to poultry's diet will generally increase O3 content in their eggs. But there are two challenges:
* Ensuring Omega 3 content of eggs is within daily intake limit (overdose is also fatal!)
* Ensuring Omega 3 content is balanced with Omega 6 (imbalance can cause the diseases you don't want)
At Purnava, the poultry is fed with a carefully chosen blend of diet. The resulting egg contains 265mg of Omega 3 with almost equal amount of Omega 6. That means, one Omega 3 egg every day is enough for the daily Omega 3 and Omega 6 needs of our body.
Omega 3 is an essential fatty acid which our own body cannot produce. So we must get it from the food we eat We must take equal amount of Omega 3 and 6 to prevent diseases like diabetes, cancer, heart disease etc.
