Your first film, Bhalobasha Zindabaad, came out in 2013. How was the overall experience of working on that film?

Airin: At the time of its release, Bhalobasha Zindabaad garnered a lot of popularity. People got to know about me through this film and I had a great time working with Debashish Biswas, who directed it and Arefin Shuvo, who was my co-star.

What projects are you currently working on?

Airin: Roudro Chchaya, Poddaar Prem, and Bhola are the three films that I am currently busy with. I will be seen opposite Nirob in Roudro Chhaya, a film by Bulbul Zilani. My co-star in Bhola is Bappy.

What type of characters will you be portraying in these three films?

Airin: I will be playing a modern woman in Roudro Chchaya. In Poddaar Prem, my fans and admirers will see me in the role of a romantic girl in the 60's, while in Bhola, I will be playing a wealthy urban girl.

What type of projects do you want to work on in the years ahead?

Airin: I want to focus on doing films right now. I will choose scripts and characters that are genuine and good. I want viewers to enjoy my work.

Which team are you supporting this World Cup?

Airin: I am rooting for Brazil. I am very happy that they have made it to the quarter finals. I support Brazil mainly because of Pele. I hope they win this year.
