Missing architect found in Khulna: Family
An architect was found in Khulna early today four days into his going missing, his family claimed.
BMA Mahfuz Nobin, 38, an architect of Sheltech Consultants Private Limited, “went missing” after he left his house in Bhashantek area of Dhaka for his office around 12:00pm on Sunday.
A missing diary was filed with Bhashantek Police Station on Monday in this regard.
He was released by his alleged captors in Khalishpur area of Khulna city around 3:00am, Nobin’s brother-in-law Imran Hossain told The Daily Star.
Nobin was blindfolded when he was ejected from a microbus, Imran said, adding that Nobin later went to his sister's house there, Imran said.
However, Imran could not say who abducted Nobin and where he had been kept during these four days.
“He is having difficulty to walk and has injury marks on his body,” Imran also claimed.
Contacted, Sabbir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Bhasantek Police Station, told The Daily Star that they have been informed that Nobin was found in Khulna.
“We will talk to him when he returns to Dhaka,” the OC said.
