A three-day long solo photography exhibition by Russell Chowdhury, titled 'Abstraction by Nature' showcasing abstract photographed art, concluded at Chitrovasha Gallery in the port city on Sunday. A total of 25 pieces of Russell's work were displayed in this exhibition. The works presented the insight the artiste has acquired in his more than a decade long journey with the photography. Prominent artist Dhali Al Mamun, Alalk Roy, veteran journalist Abul Momen and photographer Shoaib Farooqui were present during the inauguration ceremony of the exhibition on Friday evening. Yesterday, around 1.00 pm, cultural activists of Jahangirnagar University expressed solidarity with the demonstrators and staged a street drama titled 'Chakravyuh' on Dhaka-Aricha Highway in front of Joy Bangla Gate, while over 500 students of the university blocked the highway.
