WIM Rani Hamid of Titas Club and WFM Nazrana Khan Eva of Manikganj shared the lead in the Walton 38th National Women's Chess Championship with six points each at the close of the seventh round at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall room yesterday.

Rani beat Noshin Anjum of Narsingdi while Eva beat WFM Zakia Sultana of Agrani Bank in their respective seventh round matches.

WFM Zakia, Afrin Jahan Munia and Thakur Zakia Haque shared the third position with five points each and are followed by nine players who share the fourth position with 4.5 points each.
