No anti-govt demo will be successful: Quader

No anti-government movement will be successful as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has the courage to accept a demand if it is logical, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said today.

Quader came up with the remark while talking to reporters after paying homage to the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman marking the National Mourning Day today, Bangla daily Prothom Alo reports.

Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said the Awami League is marching ahead under the dynamic leadership of Sheikh Hasina despite all odds.

“On this day (August 15), we have to take oath that we will defeat any evil forces, especially the communal forces, under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina,” the AL general secretary said adding that the barbaric act of assassinating Bangabandhu along with his whole family is unmatched in the world history.
