Not getting promised internet speed? Tell BTRC
If you are not getting the promised internet speed and quality service from your local internet provider then you can file a complaint with Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
BTRC in a notice posted on Facebook today said that it will deal with such complaints giving them utmost importance.
Users have the right to enjoy the promised bandwidth and quality service from internet service providers, the notice said.
Under Bangladesh Telecommunication Act 2001, BTRC is committed to ensure proper internet speed and quality internet service for the customers, according to the notice.
Internet users can lodge their complaint here: http://www.btrc.gov.bd/complain-management
Internet users can also call 100 of the BTRC cell and file their complaints.
Users can use third-party tools like Ookla, Open Signal, Speed Test Meter and many others to check their current internet speed, BTRC says.
